Your First Visit With Us
Thank you for considering White Orthodontics for your orthodontic needs. We want your first visit with us to be as pleasurable and informative as possible. After welcoming you, we will spend time making you comfortable and getting to know you. We will ask you what you would like to see different about your smile and accomplish with orthodontic treatment. A complimentary digital panoramic image will be taken and Dr. White will proceed with a clinical evaluation to evaluate your smile and profile esthetics, as well as your bite. Dr. White will discuss with you all dental and skeletal discrepancies and any developmental concerns. Dr. White will present your treatment options to achieve the goal of a great smile and healthy bite, and discuss the progression of treatment in detail. Questions are invited. Dr. White is great at explaining with understandable details. There is no charge for this consultation.


What you can expect during this visit:

  • To have a complimentary digital radiograph of your teeth.
  • To be examined by Dr. White to determine:
    • Is orthodontic treatment indicated
    • When is the best time to initiate treatment
    • What treatment options are available
    • How much treatment will cost
    • How long will the treatment last
  • To be presented with a presentation of the orthodontic problems and options available to correct them.
  • Our treatment coordinator will discuss your insurance benefits as well as establish an individualized payment plan.
  • Scheduling of diagnostic records to establish a definitive treatment plan.
If you are ready to get started, diagnostic records can be taken at the conclusion of this appointment. Your time is important.

Digital Diagnostic
We use the latest and safest digital technology to create the most useful and complete diagnostic records to be used for your evaluation and treatment progress. In addition to your medical/dental history and clinical examination, we make digital models of your teeth, digital images of your smile, profile, and teeth, and digital radiographs of your teeth (panoramic) and profile/jaws/teeth (cephalometric).
